Lakeview Manor Senior Living is locally owned and operated and is conveniently located one half of a mile away from Effingham Hospital. Lakeview Manor offers 24/7 Nurse Practitioner oversight, an electronic medication receiving and monitoring system, and a 24-hour video surveillance system.  We believe we are a family serving family; and our resident is at the heart of everything we do. Our personalized approach to senior living ensures that those who seek our care and services have options customized to their preferences.

We are locally owned and operated by natives of Effingham County. We realize you’ve worked hard for a safe and secure retirement. Come and enjoy it. You’ll find relief from the maintenance of a house, as well as cooking and cleaning chores. 

We offer:

  • Staff on hand 24 Hours per day
  • Conveniently located one half of a mile from Effingham Hospital
  • Private Bedrooms with Private Bathroom and walk-in closets
  • 3 nutritious meals in our family style dining room (Snacks and/or drinks upon request)
  • Comcast Cable is provided (Residents bring their own furniture and televisions sets.)
  • Daily housekeeping including cleaning rooms, bathrooms and doing laundry
  • Sheets, towels, toilet tissue and soap are provided
  • Assistance with bathing is provided three times a week if needed
  • Scheduling and transportation to physician appointments, and beauty shop (only locally in Springfield)
  • Medication is kept under lock and key and distributed at designated times
  • We monitor medications and order more when needed through Sr. Care Pharmacy in Statesboro. They also deliver nightly.
  • Friends and family are encouraged to visit any time
  • We have weekly Bible study, monthly church activities, Bingo once a week, and Communion once a month.

Responsibility of Resident/Families:

  • You provide the furniture
  • You pay for telephone service if you want your own phone, although a public phone is available for any calls but long distance
  • Medication fees are the responsibility of the resident or family
